Share your memories of Nelson Street SchoolApril 5, 2019
Tuesday 16 April 3pm – 6pm
Did you go to Nelson Street school as a pupil or a member of staff?
Did you use the Drill Hall?
DCA, still known to many as the Drill Hall, has had many uses since it was built in 1928, from a Territorial Army and then King’s Own Battalion and Home Guard base with rifle range, to school annexe to youth club and now a very busy community centre with police station and library.
As part of the Drill Hall Identity project, we are writing a book about the its history and we’d like to hear your stories.
Join us for tea and cakes, bring along your photos and your memories
If you can’t make the event but would like to share your memories, visit drillhallidentity.co.uk.
